We hired John to inspect a large acreage ranch with many structures including main residence, 4 casitas, commercial kitchen and barn.
The inspection was thorough and we were impressed with the 71 page detailed report provided.
Items of importance/risk/fire hazard were highlighted in red making it easy to zoom in on important issues.
Each item had a picture with arrows pointing to maintenance concerns, making it easy to select and create a list for the seller to consider repairs.
John was informative and friendly throughout the process.

John had a great sense of humor while giving us a serious inspection report. I was impressed with his knowledge and thoroughness and his ability to share with us in plain language and answer our questions when he walked us through the review. No need to take notes, because he sent a complete report with photos in less than 24 hours. His sense of humor helped lessen the fear factor when you are buying your first home and hearing about what all is needing repair. I will refer him to others and if I have the opportunity, I will use him again.

We almost didn’t schedule an inspection, thinking a new build wouldn’t need much. We are so glad we changed our minds and went with John. He was able to find multiple small “cosmetic” errors that, if not caught, would have led to much bigger issues down the road. His reports are easy to read and understand, and exceptionally thorough. My husband and I were in the process of buying an older home from 1964 and John was recommended to me. He was quick to call/text me back and I booked simply through his website. From there, inspection day came quickly. It was evident within moments of meeting him that I called the right guy, and doesn't hurt that he's a good conversationalist too. He was incredibly detailed in his report and took his time to explain all of his findings during our walk through, answering any questions we had and making solid recommendations for how to keep up with maintenance, etc. This is not the first home we'd bought, but after finishing with John I felt equipped with way more knowledge about being a homeowner than I ever was previously. John turned around his detailed report first thing in the morning. I have no doubt I will be working with John again in the future. Highly skilled, and highly recommended.

I called John to speak with him about getting a inspection on a home we were purchasing. John was strait to the point about what gets inspected during a inspection. I scheduled and paid for it through the website. It was very user friendly. John inspected the new residence and invited me to come out the last hour and he took the time to show me the issues that he had found during the inspection. He has photos that he attaches to his report. My inspection was from 9 to 12. I had the report that night. Very organized report. I’d give him 5 stars.

I've had many home inspections and remodeled them myself but I've never had anyone as thorough or knowledgeable as John. Beyond the inspection, we got all kinds of useful information about building codes, pest management, plants, referrals to help, and remodel needs that aren't technically issues but still are best dealt with. The first 10 minutes or so I was kind of "yeah yeah, know that" and then I shut up and learned!

This is our second inspection with John. He has done a thorough job on both inspections. His report saved us a lot of money with the first house. On the second inspection, he was very thorough and helped us greatly. I would recommend him to anyone. Definitely a five star experience.

We recently had John do an inspection on a house we are buying. I was impressed immediately with his professionalism, as he sent me several emails verifying the time he was arriving. My husband was there for part of the inspection (which took over three hours) and said that it was the most thorough he had ever seen. John looked at and tested everything! And explained his findings, telling us what things were important and what were to be expected with normal house wear. He then sent us a very clear report of his findings, including pictures. There was nothing about this experience with John that was unpleasant in any way. It was just the opposite, and I would recommend him without any reservations at all!
